Testimonials
What did people want to say about using the Yuk to Kids Safety stickers?
I would just like to say "Thank You" very much for the stickers that my daughter Zyarna has brought home from daycare, she has shared a very important message to the family and the importance of safety around our home. She has identified what is not safe for children and put the stickers on these items.
It is absolutely fantastic.
Kind regards
Margaret and Derek

Sticky Situations.
Do you have a situation that became very sticky? Remember a story shared can be the best prevention ever.
"I was cleaning out the old prescription medication from a cupboard that was overflowing of old medication. I couldn't believe my eyes when one of the packets was in the possession of my three-year-old son. He had taken one and also had time to hide two more in the backyard! I always thought that I would be able to watch him 24/7. I rang the poison hotline and also rushed him to the Emergency Department at the local Hospital. All the time, my stomach was in knots. The Staff at the Hospital had him take charcoal, and had him on a heart monitor for over four hours. I felt so helpless. I would like to think that this type of thing could be prevented and never happen again." Joan, Canberra.

"I was looking after my friend's little boy when I found him eating laundry powder. I thought that can't be good. I have stored it correctly now, and I have put the sticker on for good measure. Yuk to Kids is the reminder that will help me to remember the rules in the future. " Bree, Sydney.
"My boys were invited to a party and at the time they were very quiet, we found them with matches behind the garage. My heart skipped a beat!" Sue, Perth.
"My little boy has lost a piece of his finger from touching the food processor while it was on.It only took a second." Sally, Newcastle.
Yuk to Kids...The Song!!
There is danger everywhere,
Some you see
And some that scare.
It’s no fun when your tummy hurts,
Mum left a bottle on the bench it looks so good
Don’t mind the stench
But stop, don’t drink it..
Chorus:
Yuk to Kids means Danger
Yuk to Kids means
Don’t touch
Don’t drink
And Never play with it!
Chorus Repeat
So think twice about the bottle,
That is sitting on the shelf,
Even though you are thirsty now
Just remember if you drink it
You’ll be sick, so instead
C’mon together sing along..
Chorus x 2
So listen kids,
Mums and Dads,
Grannies, Carers too,
Start the plan
Spread the news in unison
Get the Yuk to Kids stickers
Onto every danger zone
Remember Child Safety is our mission..
Chorus x 2
Chorus x 4
Yuk to Kids, Yuk to Kids, Yuk to Kids!
